The Mayonnaise Jar

Quite interesting..
Go on...
Hav a look....

When things in your life seem, Almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class

And had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again
If the jar was full... They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand

And poured it into the jar.. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded
With an unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced
two cups of coffee from under the table
And poured the entire contents
into the jar, effectively
Filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, As the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life..
The golf balls are the important things - God, family,
children, health, friends, and favorite passions –

Things that if everything else was lost

And only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter Like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --
The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life..

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are
Important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things
that are critical to your happiness.
Play
with your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time
To clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand
And inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

Not bad eih...

dats my life

heart raging
adrenaline pumping
action adventure
phobia thriller
excitement
danger hostility
curiosity

The main ingredients for what i call FUN!!!
Since comin to KL i've never had these feeling fed into my veins.
But today, wif some frens we went to hike at this so called Bukit Crystal or some say Bukit Tabuh or mayb its both... lol...
I never knew a place like KL would have such challenging mountian route for me to encounter and explore.
Very dangerous but exciting, and dats the way i like it!!!

But beware for those who wants to go on tis trip...
there r cases of accidents that have happened which cost a life.

But don't let that trouble u, its just a warning for us to take caution.
The entire journey itself was indescribable
To reach the end of the road, we have to pass above 3 mountains of the same height.
Passing above one after the other.
The road was cool, windy as blow of air that floats pass the skin was cool...
The mountain breeze

Fresh air fill the lungs as v catch our every breath
The sight of rocks v need to climb, almost to 90 degree makes our heart pump

What a sight to remember!!!
The view from the skies like walking on the clouds
OMG its a day to remember
I'll be there again soon
I bet on it!!!

another story now i own
stories that filled my life with reason
so that i noe i have live my life to the fullest
but dats still a long way to go
;)

Dining Tips

  • Avoid eating out on holidays and Saturday nights. The sheer volume of customers guarantees that most kitchens will be pushed beyond their ability to produce a high-quality dish.

  • Never say "I'm friends with the owner." Restaurant owners don't have friends. This marks you as a clueless poseur the moment you walk in the door.

  • Treat others as you want to be treated. (Yes, people need to be reminded of this.)

  • Don't order meals that aren't on the menu. You're forcing the chef to cook something he doesn't make on a regular basis. If he makes the same entrée 10,000 times a month, the odds are good that the dish will be a home run every time.

  • If you find a waiter you like, always ask to be seated in his or her section. Tell all your friends so they'll start asking for that server as well. You've just made that waiter look indispensable to the owner. The server will be grateful and take good care of you.

  • Always examine the check. Sometimes large parties are unaware that a gratuity has been added to the bill, so they tip on top of it. Waiters "facilitate" this error. It's dishonest, it's wrong-and I did it all the time.

:)

here's to us, 1 more toast
and then we'll pay the bill
deep inside both of us
can feel the autumn chill

birds of passage u n me
we fly instinctively
when the summer's over
and the dark clouds hide the sun

neither u nor i'm to blame
when all is said and done

its been there
in my dreams
the scene i see unfold
to at last flesh and blood
to cherish and to hold

careless fools will suffer, yes!
i know and i confess
once i lost my way
when something good has just begun

lesson learned its history
when all is said and done

in our life we have walked
some strange and lonely threats
slightly worn but dignified
and not to old for sex

clear headed and open mind
with nothing left untried
standing clamly at the crossroads
no desire to run

there's no hurry anymore
when all is said and done

standing clamly at the crossroads
no desire to run
there's no hurry anymore
when all is said and done

3 Reasons to Work ur Abs

  • Your Core is What Gives the Rest of Your Body Strength: I'll let you in on a secret...your 'core' is really what give you most of your strength...all over your body. Yep, that is right. Because your core, which includes both your abdominals and your lower-back muscles, is attached to your legs and arms, your body relies on it for every move we make. For example, if you swing a golf club, your core is working hard to twist your torso to allow you to take your swing...even more than your arms

  • Your Core is Your Tail and Whiskers: Do you know that cats use their tales and whiskers for balance? Guess what, you use your core in much the same way. Your core is what enables you to bend over without falling, as well as to jump and land on both of your feet. Further, if you kick a ball, your body is relying on your core to stabilize yourself as you stand on one leg and swing the other.

  • Your Core is Your Armour: Okay, it isn't made out of metal or bullet proof material, but your core sure does protect you from injury. Your core is instrumental in ensuring that you don't hurt yourself when you lift things or have to make sudden changes in movement.

ppl sometimes say be carefull wat u wish for
but it seems i didn't get wat i'd wish for
not even close
d past 2 and a half months was a downhill slope 4 me
everything now seem to be out of place
i no longer enjoy like i used to
i'm not free...
looking forward for 5pm everyday is a part of me now
my favourite time for the past few month
it is not like i have anything in a rush
but when the clock strike, i will fly along with my car back home
reaching home to c my pets,
2 turtles
1 dog
1 cat with 3 kittens
it is something that i feel satisfied about regardless the lame day
as irritating as they can get
but still caring and obedient to my voice
something in them that calms me down
something i myself cun explain
something that is mine forever

Never, not even once.
But some MotherF***ing Son of the B***h broke into my car while i was working!!
But luckily i have no valueables in my car.
Grab off a a few things of course but nothing expensive.
The thing is that that bladdy idiot was so damn stupid.
'It' took from me all the cheap stuff but leave the most valueable items in my car untouched.
4 of my racquets which approximately cost bout 400.
But still if i were to c 'it' again, i would break his teeth.
One by one for every item 'it' took...
Never will 'it' have a good life for the rest of 'its' days.
Never to rest till it has repaid this debt.
Never to live a pecefull life!!

A great song that tells story... By Milow - house by the creek

Mama lies on the couch in her old wedding gown

She turned pale long before the carnival had left town

She stares at the front porch on the outlook for dad

"Don't worry, I'll be back in a week" is the last thing he said

We all knew he gambled in the city and lost

Money we didn't have must've be the line that he crossed

It's been over a year instead of a week

Here in our house, our house by the creek

Me and my family live in the Netherlands

In the house that he build with his bare hands

My younger brother Jimmy is playing outside

With his cap gun he tries to shoot planes from the sky

In his chair by the window sits uncle Fred

Since he's back from the war there ain't a word he has said

And Freckles my sister as she passed away sir

Sometimes in my dreams I catch up with dad and with her

What we end up with is not what we seek

Here in our house, our house by the creek

My name is Louis, it's Louis, all right

I play dad's old accordion all day and all night

I just turned eleven, so I'm still a kid

But when I grow up I wanna find out what daddy did

Mister believe me, I was thought not to cry

And that family should stay together 'till the day that you die

Yeah mister believe me, I was thought boys don't cry

And that the town where you're born is the town where youll die

That the town where you're born is where youll probably die

What did God wanna show when He created man weak

We don't understand in our house by the creek

4/10 commandment for pets...

Spoken as if our pets can say it by themselves:-

  • My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.

  • Don’t be angry with me for long and don’t lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainments, but I have only you.(Even when our pets have pet companions - they look to us for love and affection, and especially for care. If their behavior seems 'bad' maybe it's their only way of saying, 'Remember me! I need you, too!')

  • Talk to me. Even if I don’t understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me. (Self explanatory...don't you think? Pets are like children -- they hear the truth in your voice)

  • Please take care of me when i grow old. You too, will grow old. (So much of who we are and how we act, is taken up by how we feel. It's true for our pets, also. As they age - they will decline faster than we do. But, the love they give, and hope to receive, will not die...no matter how old they get)

Their 10 to 15 years of age will leave pawprints in your heart throughout your life. whether it is joy or sorrow, all depends on you.

Myth busters

Ever turn to the person beside u and ask for his/her opinion while ur working out in the gym???Ever get any advice from anyone(not referring to experts) bout fitness??? U'll be surprised how many different opinions u'll get bout personal fitness even from those ppl who goes to the park or gym once every decade.
There are so many stories ppl tell bout health but surely not all of them are entirely true. Here are a few tips that are commonly heard and obviously false.

Myth 1: Light weights on arms or legs help burn extra calories and build muscle while walking/running.
It is an absolute myth! There is absolutely no need to add additional weight to your own. By adding hand-held or Velcro weights only slows you down, which leads to an incomplete aerobic benefit.

Myth 2: If you want to lose weight, stay away from strength training because it will make you bulk up.
Most fitness experts believe that cardiovascular exercise and strength training are both valuable for maintaining a healthy weight. Strength training helps maintain muscle mass and decrease body fat percentage. By incorporating both into your regimen, results are noticed faster and with the proper amount of strength training, your body will not result in a bulky appearance.

Myth 3: Crunches blast belly fat.
Almost every client believes that performing 100 crunches daily will result in the coveted washboard abs. Planks, yoga, Pilates and crunches and a variety of cardiovascular exercises will help in lowering belly fat. Daily nutrition is also extremely dependent on the appearance of your midsection. Abdominal exercises can strengthen and tone the muscles. But those muscles are underneath the "subcutaneous" layer of fat that gives the lovely appearance of flab. Only losing weight can get rid of excess fat, and where you lose the weight is also dependent on your genetics.

Myth 4: No pain, no gain.
Many people still believe that you have to work at a very high intensity in order to get see physical improvements. You don't need to run a marathon! The idea is making sure that the exercise is at least moderate-intensity--that is, equivalent to walking at a pace of three to four miles an hour. High-intensity exercise does have one advantage: it saves time. It takes less time to burn the same number of calories at higher intensity. You can jog for 20 minutes or walk for 40 or 45. You shouldn't feel like working out harder or faster will lead to maximum results, as this may lead to strenuous complications later in life.

Myth 5: You have to sweat to know you're really working hard.
Sweating is not necessarily an indicator of exertion--the process of perspiring is your body's way of cooling itself. It is possible to burn a significant number of calories without breaking a sweat: taking a walk, doing light weight training, or working out in a swimming pool won't lead to excessive sweating.

Anyone of them sounds familiar??? Hehe... :)

words worth reading

How long izzit since u read something that made ur heart stop???
Well, tis article was not written by me but it sure did hit me on d head... lolx
Take a few minutes to hav a look, i'm sure it'll be worth the time... :)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back. The boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny, are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' 'The old lady replied:

' ' You know that you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear. ' '

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.
'It ' s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her. '

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.
But he replied to me sadly.
' No, Santa Claus can ' t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there. '

His eyes were so sad while saying this.
' My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister. ' '

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: ' I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall. '

Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ' I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won ' t forget me. ''I love my mommy and I wish she didn ' t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister. '

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.
I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ' Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll! '

'OK ' he said, ' I hope I do have enough. ' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '

Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '
'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn ' t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. ' '
'My mommy loves white roses. '

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.
I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started.
couldn ' t get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a youngwoman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on thelife-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.

Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.
She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.

I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister isstill, to this day, hard to imagine.
And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Rotting Time

They say time is gold
Not in my world it isn't
At least not now, i'm sure of it
One month pass since the first day of training
Nothin changes
Just like the day before i sit and wait to get paid
Every day i reach my desk
Time seem to have a new pace
YouTube becomes a faithful friend
Blogging becomes a routine job
But still, time slowly passes by
It hurts the soul
A kind torture that rips of the spirit within
Now i fear for my future
Fear for the life of the same kind
Fear to be traped in this world
A world you need to hear the clock tick

RAGE

heavy tense fills the air
want to know but afraid to see
every air i breath was hot
but the body was icy cool

just like a fever the body felt
just another lie another excuse
a circle, a loop has come to its end
my piece of work now shows its price

poping out the window a frame i see
columns and rows that make or break
not as lucky as the time before
this time it breaks, a direct hit

how can it be i don't understand
to fail the one with the most given time
the rest of it i'm quite impressed
now fury fills me which burns like hell

a fish never bites the bait twice
killing it will be harder the second time
anyhow i know i will not kneel
i will cut n bring its head back home

Touch of life

I was sitting in the living room just blindly staring at the television not knowing what i'm looking at. Just when i'm about to go out and have a walk around loosening up my limbs, a pour of rain sueddenly gush down the sky. Feeling tired n bored with damp floor caused by the sudden change of temperature, i was lazy to get out of the chair with one of my leg lifted up on another chair. The air becomes cold and wet. Every breeze that blew towards me felt like threads of strings sliding across the skin and makes the chill down the spine.

Peeping and moving slowly at the door that connect the living room and the dining room was my pregnant cat. Kinda of stalking in a way as if she was trying to catch a mouse, she looked at me. Then she stop. Counting the clock tick i waited. There was something in her mind or something she had her eyes on but i do not know what, well at least not yet. Then all of a sudden, hop hop and a hop she jump onto my lap and look straight into my eyes. It did not startled me but i was very impressed by her agility and flexibility.

I put my hand on her head and patted her. Her fur was cold. The heat from my palm warm her body and she sat down with a look on her face that tells me that she was comfortable. She was tired by the look on her face and within a minute, she was already sleeping. I put my hand on her belly and continued staring at the idiot box with blank thoughts. It was then by chance, i felt it!!!!

A push, a small movement, like a finger pushing from behind her belly, it was so light i wouldn't have notice it if i was moving, i felt her kittens move. It was then my conciousness came back to me. Wow!!! This is incredible. Though i did not move from my chair, deeply i was very excited bout what i had experienced. It was a moment so worth remembering.

It happen just the day before and guess what??? Just yesterday, it already gave birth. How many kittens i do not know. But i'm glad she hopped on to my lap the day before. Now, i will wait for another 2 weeks for the kittens to open their eyes and come out to see the world... :)
