The Mayonnaise Jar

When things in your life seem, Almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class

And had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again
If the jar was full... They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand

And poured it into the jar.. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded
With an unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table
And poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively
Filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, As the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life..
The golf balls are the important things - God, family,
children, health, friends, and favorite passions –

Things that if everything else was lost

And only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter Like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --
The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life..

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are
Important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play with your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time
To clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand
And inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

The main ingredients for what i call FUN!!!
Since comin to KL i've never had these feeling fed into my veins.
But today, wif some frens we went to hike at this so called Bukit Crystal or some say Bukit Tabuh or mayb its both... lol...
I never knew a place like KL would have such challenging mountian route for me to encounter and explore.
Very dangerous but exciting, and dats the way i like it!!!

But beware for those who wants to go on tis trip...
there r cases of accidents that have happened which cost a life.

But don't let that trouble u, its just a warning for us to take caution.
The entire journey itself was indescribable
To reach the end of the road, we have to pass above 3 mountains of the same height.
Passing above one after the other.
The road was cool, windy as blow of air that floats pass the skin was cool...
The mountain breeze

Fresh air fill the lungs as v catch our every breath
The sight of rocks v need to climb, almost to 90 degree makes our heart pump

What a sight to remember!!!
The view from the skies like walking on the clouds
OMG its a day to remember
I'll be there again soon
I bet on it!!!

If you find a waiter you like, always ask to be seated in his or her section. Tell all your friends so they'll start asking for that server as well. You've just made that waiter look indispensable to the owner. The server will be grateful and take good care of you.

Always examine the check. Sometimes large parties are unaware that a gratuity has been added to the bill, so they tip on top of it. Waiters "facilitate" this error. It's dishonest, it's wrong-and I did it all the time.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!

my dream of 3 month break turn out to be such a suffocating time

things just never turn out to be d way way u expect does it???

ppl sometimes say be carefull wat u wish for

but it seems i didn't get wat i'd wish for

not even close

d past 2 and a half months was a downhill slope 4 me

everything now seem to be out of place

i no longer enjoy like i used to

i'm not free...

looking forward for 5pm everyday is a part of me now

my favourite time for the past few month

it is not like i have anything in a rush

but when the clock strike, i will fly along with my car back home

reaching home to c my pets,

it is something that i feel satisfied about regardless the lame day

but still caring and obedient to my voice

But some MotherF***ing Son of the B***h broke into my car while i was working!!

But luckily i have no valueables in my car.

Grab off a a few things of course but nothing expensive.

The thing is that that bladdy idiot was so damn stupid.

'It' took from me all the cheap stuff but leave the most valueable items in my car untouched.

4 of my racquets which approximately cost bout 400.

But still if i were to c 'it' again, i would break his teeth.

One by one for every item 'it' took...

Never will 'it' have a good life for the rest of 'its' days.

My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.

Talk to me. Even if I don’t understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me. (Self explanatory...don't you think? Pets are like children -- they hear the truth in your voice)

Please take care of me when i grow old. You too, will grow old. (So much of who we are and how we act, is taken up by how we feel. It's true for our pets, also. As they age - they will decline faster than we do. But, the love they give, and hope to receive, will not die...no matter how old they get)

Ever turn to the person beside u and ask for his/her opinion while ur working out in the gym???Ever get any advice from anyone(not referring to experts) bout fitness??? U'll be surprised how many different opinions u'll get bout personal fitness even from those ppl who goes to the park or gym once every decade.
There are so many stories ppl tell bout health but surely not all of them are entirely true. Here are a few tips that are commonly heard and obviously false.

Myth 1: Light weights on arms or legs help burn extra calories and build muscle while walking/running.

It is an absolute myth! There is absolutely no need to add additional weight to your own. By adding hand-held or Velcro weights only slows you down, which leads to an incomplete aerobic benefit.

Myth 2: If you want to lose weight, stay away from strength training because it will make you bulk up.

Most fitness experts believe that cardiovascular exercise and strength training are both valuable for maintaining a healthy weight. Strength training helps maintain muscle mass and decrease body fat percentage. By incorporating both into your regimen, results are noticed faster and with the proper amount of strength training, your body will not result in a bulky appearance.

Myth 3: Crunches blast belly fat.

Almost every client believes that performing 100 crunches daily will result in the coveted washboard abs. Planks, yoga, Pilates and crunches and a variety of cardiovascular exercises will help in lowering belly fat. Daily nutrition is also extremely dependent on the appearance of your midsection. Well, tis article was not written by me but it sure did hit me on d head... lolx

Take a few minutes to hav a look, i'm sure it'll be worth the time... :)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.The boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny,are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' 'The old lady replied:

' ' You know that you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear. ' '

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.
'It ' s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas.She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her. '

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.
But he replied to me sadly.
' No, Santa Claus can ' t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there. '

His eyes were so sad while saying this.
' My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister. ' '

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: ' I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall. '

Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ' I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won ' t forget me. ''I love my mommy and I wish she didn ' t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister. '

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.
I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ' Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll! '

'OK ' he said, ' I hope I do have enough. ' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '

Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '
'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn ' t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. ' '
'My mommy loves white roses. '

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.
I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started.
couldn ' t get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a youngwoman and a little girl.The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on thelife-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.

Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.
She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.

I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister isstill, to this day, hard to imagine.
And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Touch of life

I was sitting in the living room just blindly staring at the television not knowing what i'm looking at. Just when i'm about to go out and have a walk around loosening up my limbs, a pour of rain sueddenly gush down the sky. Feeling tired n bored with damp floor caused by the sudden change of temperature, i was lazy to get out of the chair with one of my leg lifted up on another chair. The air becomes cold and wet. Every breeze that blew towards me felt like threads of strings sliding across the skin and makes the chill down the spine.

Peeping and moving slowly at the door that connect the living room and the dining room was my pregnant cat. Kinda of stalking in a way as if she was trying to catch a mouse, she looked at me. Then she stop. Counting the clock tick i waited. There was something in her mind or something she had her eyes on but i do not know what, well at least not yet. Then all of a sudden, hop hop and a hop she jump onto my lap and look straight into my eyes. It did not startled me but i was very impressed by her agility and flexibility.

I put my hand on her head and patted her. Her fur was cold. The heat from my palm warm her body and she sat down with a look on her face that tells me that she was comfortable. She was tired by the look on her face and within a minute, she was already sleeping. I put my hand on her belly and continued staring at the idiot box with blank thoughts. It was then by chance, i felt it!!!!

A push, a small movement, like a finger pushing from behind her belly, it was so light i wouldn't have notice it if i was moving, i felt her kittens move. It was then my conciousness came back to me. Wow!!! This is incredible. Though i did not move from my chair, deeply i was very excited bout what i had experienced. It was a moment so worth remembering.

It happen just the day before and guess what??? Just yesterday, it already gave birth. How many kittens i do not know. But i'm glad she hopped on to my lap the day before. Now, i will wait for another 2 weeks for the kittens to open their eyes and come out to see the world... :)

If you have a dog or a cat at home, carry them on your lap, put your hand just above their belly and feel.... Can you feel that??? :)

Now, use ur other hand and and bring it close to your chest. Get my point??? Noo??? (=.=)

The heart silly!!! The heart!!! See how it beats much more faster than ours...
It doesn't matter what time or temperature the day is. Even when they are asleep or resting, you can see that their hearts still beats faster than ours.

The real key to longevity is the beating of the heart. All mammals shared the same average heart beat and so, how long we live depends on how slow our heart beat can get. Of course there is a limit for everything, i mean it couldn't be slow untill your heart cun supply enough blood for your body right... lolx...

I've been so free these few weeks that i've been surfing through many many things on everything and this, is one of the most interesting thing i found out and yes!, it makes sense.

There is no elixir of life there is no undying pill. Those things only happen in our own fantasy the one's we dream and see on the screen. If you wish to see the world for as long as you could, then lower your pulse by increasing your stamina and with some luck, we may see each other at our olden days....

Go on, get ur ass up dat couch and off to the gym or park or just run around the house or something!!!... =.='

Time in HELL

How of a sudden thing can turn out to be. Just at the prick of time where I thought that there was going to be too much time for me this holiday, I received “news”. I couldn’t say it was bad, though I also never thought of it as a good thing. Which idiot implements this stupid idea? Which joker thought of this plan as if it would be of such help?

Tell me, what the heck can you do in three months besides being a pest around others you merely know? Not mention a generation gap that would place me in another different world. It’s kind of hard for me to make a move when I don’t know nothing about the world I’m in. Just like in the movies where you’ll be watching a foreign movie without subtitles!!!

Sigh, tired but restless. Worn out but cannot stop and sleepy but no room for slumber. At this moment in life, time seems to slow its pace. Every tick on the clock you seem to be able to hear. Believe me, this is the first stage in hell and it goes deeper deeper deeper and deeper.

Morning Slumber

Dawn approaches. Bright and sharp light peeped across the horizon, piercing through my eyes. It was the start of a long long holiday. One that would most probably gime some time for me to clear my head. I lie in bed , pulling my blanket over my head to stop the light from hurting my eye. Feeling cozy and lazy to ge out of bed, I started to woder off again in my dreams that brought me back in time.

Just as it seems not long ago, a year, or should i say, almost a year... had passed. A year where many of us were doubtful we can manage to succeed but now, I think we had manage to go through thos stage in life. Funny as it may seem i myself and the people around me put on smiling faces and confident footsteps everyday and everytime we meet but in our hearts, we know that there is a wave coming right at us with a sting so sharp none of us can ignore or fail to realize.

The pressure of studying is an illness which can be fatal to some and dangerous to many. Yes, it has brought many success but beware, also had dragged many into a pool misery. From there, friends come into place to help you get out of the hole. People that doesn't carry or flow the same blood as yours, surrounds your life and lends a hand.

We see each othere day by day. Goofong around, kidding, the happy memories that rest in our hearts and the days of difficulty, where there is always a soul to listen when you speak ans a soul to show you the silver lining in the dark side of the clouds. It is the first week of coll. It wasn't so bad when d thought of comin back here to KL arise but now, time seems to slowly passes by one second at a time.... N i really mean sllllooooooowwww...........

lolx, few reasons 4 it actually.Back in penang for my holidays, i took my laptop 4 service n d technician say it would probabaly take a week or 2 finish repairing. Ok lo, so i waited.... n waited.... n waited.... 2 weeks was d duration of my holidays n guess wat!!! d day i planned 2 go back to coll in d middle of the highway when i was driving back to KL d operator call me n say my laptop ok d....
Wat d heck!!! wat am i goin 2 do? too late d ler... shit..

ok nv'mind... summore my mp3, oso i took it 4 service in penang n till now d operator no call me yet. 1 month comin d lo, service take tat long 1 meh... haih, dunno wat to say to they all, summore is sony 1 lo... such a gud brand but such a slow service provided.

No music, no movies, no get 2 on9, no tis no tat... no entertainment at all!!!!

I tried writing something to post for a few days already. It's usually not difficult to write something when you got something in mind. Just like now, it took me quite a long time to figure out how to continue this sentence. Although I just took a nap and did nothing for the rest of the day, I felt very sleepy and exhausted.

The feeling of disappointment after putting so much effort in something is just like a turnover from victory to defeat. Not to mention another enemy which is standing next on the list and not far away is also one of the most that I fear. For those who are taking examinations alongside me would know what I'm talking about.

So how do you recover from such a hit? How do you bear such a hit and still manage to stand up and continue fighting? This would be the question I would have to answer as soon as possible because if I don't, then let just say even god can’t help me. For now, I would just have to bear with the disappointment and continue to concentrate on the next fight.

Though I always give faith and words of encouragement to others, it seems like I keep none for myself. My nights become restless, my dreams of late were all haunted, and the feeling of falling grew deeper day by day. "sigh"….

Books, dictionaries, pens, calculators: all the fundamental weapons that can be seen used by all who call themselves a student. Forcing ourselves up every day early in the morning to get ready for class but in our heads, we are willing to go back to bed anytime.

And there we go, attending hours and hours of lectures and tutorials just for the sake of the attendance and also to show our pretty face to our lecturers. Never knowing exactly what's happening in class or whatever the man or lady standing in front is babbling about. Anyway, that’s what we do, just sit there and dream in the world of our own and let the clock tick by and awaiting the phrase "that's all for the day" from the lecturer.

14 weeks of college life just pass by just like that. Then it comes, so called judgment day. 2 weeks of frustration, pressure, boredom, anything u can imagine that you wouldn't want to see in your life comes back to you again. Everyone starts to become silent; friends will turn over all your invitations, there's no mood for anything that you would like to do, and some even will look pale and finally fall sick…

Why??? Why does this process repeatedly come to us every time and we still take the chance to go through with it???

I'll tell u why… It's just because of a simple piece of cheap paper that cost no more than your everyday meal. We strive and strive and strive, never knowing what or till where we can achieve and just blindly follow the courses offered to us never knowing for what advantages or why the courses are made for us.

This is the 21st century. That's how the way things are these day. Study for a paper, suffer like hell, and get a damn piece of paper which offers a life in the near future. And for the later days of your life, that paper is just a souvenir that you put it in the cabinet and collect dust!!! ~.~

A year or two had passed. It has always been a pleasure till today that I've met a person like you. Never knowing whether it was coincidence or fate that has bought your presence into my life, but anyway, I was always glad you came.

It was never a decision to be made; it was always by both our will to stay as what we are. You've cherished my life, you've brighten my dreams, you've strengthen my heart and showed me the reason of life where many seek but could not find.

Now, that the time has come for you to carry on. Though it gives time for both us to seek our dreams, a heaviness of letting you go still sinks in my heart. Never knowing when we'll meet again as days will pass like the cold light breeze.

A day to remember, a day the world have been waiting every 4 years to arrive. A day where all the warriors of the world of sports assemble in a selected country and in one occasion, triumph for victory and honor. This was the day, eyes from all around the world centered their vision on one location and with the same spirit, the flames of the Olympics was again been lit for the world to marvel at its significance. This time, this historical time, the games were seated in a country known as Beijing, China.

Everywhere from homes to the streets, we see family and friends gather alongside each other eagerly waiting for the grand opening of this unforgettable event. Sports are the one thing in our world that is able to bring all the people from around the world together no matter what religion, believes or any reason that part people away from each other. The influence sports can bring in our very lives is so powerful that it can be seen if we keep our eyes open and observe our surrounding. Why? Why do people look at the newspaper beginning from behind? Why are people willing to sit and enjoy a game of football when he/she has no idea how to play it? Why do people feel disappointed when their country is unable to win a game though it has nothing to do with them?

Athletes train with every breath hoping to make the best out of what they can. And in coincidence, becomes an art where spectators like you and I see it with fascination. Sport is just a word but the power lies the meaning of the word implies. A universal language that can be understood by all the people around the world even though there are no words that can be spoken or writing that can read. This is the fame of our time, this is the history that can't be forgotten, and this is the world speaking under one sound… This is the Olympics!!

Inspiration comes from passion. Everything we do that brought us here today is the journey that comes from our passion itself. I do not know the destination this journey will lead me to but all I know is that as long as I have a working heart, my passion towards life will not fade.
It's been long since I speak alongside my heart; it's been long since I expressed myself. What I'm writing here is to keep track of what I'm going to get through for I do not know what is installed for me in the future, and what are the choices I would be making.
I would stop here for now, never knowing what will I be posting next time but I do hope it is going to be a story I would gladly remember.
